It’s time to get your flu vaccine!  Flu season usually begins in October, and flu activity is expected to increase in the coming weeks to months. CDC recommends that everyone aged 6 months and older get a flu vaccine every year. The vaccine protects against the three flu viruses research indicates will cause the most illness during the upcoming season.  For more information on the flu, visit the CDC website here.

Flu shots are $25 and high-dose vaccine flu shots(ages 65+) are $30 at Bourbon County Health Department and are available to the entire public.  We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and Humana insurance plans.
